Calvin & Mackenzie spent the day working from the cabin. Patrick went to his office in the morning, but worked from home for the afternoon so he and Anne could leave together from Hoboken. Anne went to her work project in Somerset, NJ in the morning and arrived home in the late afternoon after a surreal day at her customer’s plant where she didn’t shake hands with anyone and couldn’t stop reading the news.
Anne & Patrick stopped by the ShopRite in Hoboken around 5:30 before leaving town. It was packed with people doomsday prepping. Insanely busy for a Thursday, almost all the cleaning products, beans, peanut butter, meats, and paper products were sold out.
It seems at least four parties gave up entirely when they saw this aisle and abandoned their carts.
Anne & Patrick continued up to the cabin, stopping at a Walmart in Kingston on the way, and arriving at the cabin later that night.
